PAI Group used to manage their information about employees and their accreditations, certifications and qualification histories across several platforms and spreadsheets. Keeping these up to date was a daunting and time-consuming process.
Andy Bonehill, Managing Director of PAI Group, saw an immediate use for ECA’s eCOMS platform when it was launched as a brand new ECA Member benefit.
“The ECA demonstrated eCOMS for us at a Regional meeting and I knew straight away that we needed to use it at PAI Group,” he said. “We were holding all our employee data in a variety of systems that didn’t speak to each other.”
“eCOMS is a one-stop shop that pools all our data in one easy to use dashboard. With the recent EAS changes coming into force, eCOMS has been especially useful for us to quickly demonstrate that we are fully compliant.”
While comparing eCOMS to other tools, Andy was impressed by the detailed data management system as well as the integrations offered by the platform. With the added confidence that ECA could support them with training and troubleshooting, PAI Group rolled eCOMS out across the business.
“We were recently able to bring up our records for an EAS assessor,” Andy added, “and prove we were using competent personnel for the right jobs while continuing to manage their professional development. We also use eCOMS to capture observations, which in time will become a more important requirement for the EAS as it continues to develop.”
