Complementing the ECA’s efforts to reduce the burden of pre-qualification, the ECA has negotiated partnerships and discounted fees for Registered Members with some of the industry’s leading pre-qualification scheme providers, including:
- TrustMark, an independent register that helps homeowners and householders find reliable and competent contractors to carry out improvements and repairs to their homes. ECA is a licensed operator for the TrustMark Scheme, meaning Registered Members can become TrustMarked businesses for free.
- CHAS, the nationally recognised Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS), whose assessment covers the core health and safety criteria for contractors in the Approved Code of Practice to the CDM Regulations 2007. A free CHAS assessment is available to eligible Registered Members.
- Constructionline, the UK's largest register for pre-qualified contractors and consultants. It is actively utilised by the NHS, local authorities, police and universities as well as private sector businesses such as major contractors, small construction businesses and consultants. ECA has negotiated discounted joining fees for Registered Members wishing to join the Constructionline register.
- Exor Management Services, which provides an increasing number of local authorities and other public and private sector organisations across England and Wales with an accredited supplier database and supplier selection software. ECA has negotiated discounted accreditation fees for Registered Members wishing to join the Exor supplier database.
